Our line of cabinetry is both resource smart and household
friendly. This new line of cabinetry gives you a choice from
your traditional one. Our cabinets are not only crafted with
certified and reclaimed woods but are not filled with
formaldehyde, which is a known carcinogen. We use plywood from
Sweden for all our case materials, along with complimenting them
with low and zero VOC based adhesives stain and clear coats.
With clean,
simple lines, our cabinets reflect a refreshing, environmentally
conscious temperament - we use no materials in excess. The door
styles, moldings and wall paneling in our collection are
handsome, well tailored, and have that certain savoir-faire.
The distinctive
woods we use to craft these cabinets are an extension of our
various designs. FSC certified standard wood species which
include maple, hickory, red oak, cherry (solid and veneer) and
bamboo (a grass grown and harvested in a sustainable manner),
are offered along with reclaimed and rediscovered woods as they
become available.
Waterborne clear
finishes, natural oils, and a palette of low V.O.C. (volatile
organic compounds) paint selections enhance our designs while
offering endless options for customizing the cabinets.
ECO is committed
to having its practices, procedures, and products reviewed with
an eye toward eliminating waste and reducing harmful
environmental impacts wherever possible.
To ensure the
chain of certified wood custody, ECO uses FSC certified Smart
Wood. This wood is harvested from well-managed forests,
independently certified by Smart Wood in accordance with rules
of the Forest Stewardship Council. Our suppliers serve as
partners in helping us maintain our commitment to environmental
stewardship.
Only high-quality, hand crafted, custom made cabinets made from
renewable resources that are created without the commonly but
unnecessarily used harmful chemical additives. Using these
environmentally friendly materials can be of obvious benefit to
health (people with chemical sensitivities) and environment and
also to. At Infinity Woodcraft Creations we are very conscious
of the potential health hazards that can be caused by traditional
building materials.
Many traditional cabinets are made with a particleboard core and
plywood that is put together with harmful chemical adhesives and
other treatments. This leads to off-gassing of harmful agents like
formaldehyde and VOCs into your air. We worked hard to find
alternatives such as natural wheat board core, high quality wood
sources and by using non-toxic, low VOC, natural finishes to
overcome these problems.
Some alternative wood materials that we use are sustainable
materials such as palm wood or bamboo. These materials are very
durable and have a unique aesthetic appearance. Other woods come
from FSC certified forests and suppliers of recycled or reclaimed
materials. By using these different sources instead of usual kinds
of wood we greatly reduces or even totally eliminate any strain
on the environment, which ensures a sustainable future for our earth.
